Buried Roots
BURIED ROOTS can sometimes lie dormant for years without any trouble. Occasionally, an infection can develop years later, or you may begin to experience something sharp coming through the gum. If this is the case, Mr Flanagan can remove them surgically. You can expect to have some minor stitches afterwards, but generally it is not a too cumbersome treatment.
BELOW IS A PICTURE OF BROKEN ROOTS THAT NEEDED REMOVAL. COMING THROUGH THE GUM IS A PIECE OF DEAD BONE AS A RESULT OF OSTEONECROSIS (dead bone from infection).
