Single Tooth
SINGLE TOOTH IMPLANT
In some instances, a single tooth implant is all that may be needed to enhance the function and appearance of a patient's smile. A full examination is undertaken to determine the suitability of the patient and the functional and aesthetic needs. The treatment is discussed and the plan formulated. The implant is placed normally under local anaesthetic and is left to heal for 3 months, depending on bone quality and initial implant stability. Occasionally we can provide the final crown earlier, but as a general rule we wait 3 months. In the interim we can provide a selection of temporary tooth replacements.
